• Head of People & Operations at a human performance consultancy
– including managing one of the largest organisational culture change programs ever undertaken in Australia
I’m also a qualified Executive, Business and Results coach, have completed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction [MBSR] program, accredited international Money Breakthrough Coach, Podcast Host and co author of international best selling book Elevate Your Success.
I believe in lifelong learning, applying what I learn and sharing it with others so they can apply it too.
I want to help as many people as possible to earn great money doing what they love, without burning out on the way.
In late 2014 I had a health wake up call and was diagnosed with severe adrenal fatigue.
This led me to have some serious ‘shut up think and feel time’ and to the decision to leave my corporate role.
That time also led me to ask some big questions… questions about how I want to live my life, what success really means to me and how I can add the most value to others.
This reflection allowed me to reconnect with my passion of wanting to be my best, to be continually learning and growing and to use that knowledge to assist others to bring the best of who they are to what they do – especially women who have had a successful career and now want to be their own boss.
I’m now living beyond burnout and I believe it’s possible for us to live in a world where every person you interact with is doing what they love – or is it transit to get there.
I want to help as many people as possible to create that world, by helping them to earn great money, doing what they love, without burning out on the way.
Why The Transit Lounge?
I actually thought of using ‘The Transit Lounge’ as the name when on the back of the Vespa on the way to Bondi beach with Mick. I know… random.
For me it connected to the concept of always being on the move… on the way somewhere…
personally, professionally, physically… not in a striving relentless way, in a growing, exploring kind of way.
I also liked that it had an aspirational element of getting access to a Lounge that provides a bit more support, comfort and guidance that always make your journey that little bit more lush!
Why choose a lotus for the logo?
The lotus flower has such an amazing background and beautiful meanings in a range of different cultures including Buddhism and Egyptology.
I chose it for The Transit Lounge as a symbol of strength, beauty, resilience and prosperity.
The Lotus flower grows in muddy water… through the murkiness it reaches for the surface, seeking fresh air and the blue sky above.
Once it reaches the surface… it keeps growing… its strong stem holds it safely above the water where it blooms during the day and closes at night…
When it is pollinated the seeds drop into the water where the cycle begins again…
